Morgan has not forgotten his past, but has embraced it. Realizing that he was in a position to give back to his home town and county, he has revitalized Exline, Iowa, and has enjoyed watching it blossom into a vital, energetic little town. With rural communities fading into the past, he has stopped Exline from a future as a ghost town.
He has turned the town around by building the Exline Old Country Store and Antique Exchange – a place where locals can sit around the stove and visit, while guests can come and enjoy the antiques shopping. Click here to learn more...
Exline is home to a renovated old country school and an historic insurance office. There is a new firehouse museum, Exline Hose Co. No 1, where all of the history of Exline will be showcased.
Morgan has built Ponds & Prairies on his family farm
– a beautiful country setting with lovely log cabins
along the edge of the pond where he would fish
when he was growing up.
