Appanoose Economic Development Corporation Annual Banquet

CENTERVILLE – Appanoose Economic Development Corporation held its annual banquet on Thursday, March 25 at the Manhattan with 135 people in attendance.

Several awards were also given out by Madeline Cummins, president of AEDC. Jim Irelan received the award for Investing In the Future of Appanoose County, and Curwood was given the Outstanding Service to the Community award. Plant manager Steve McDowell accepted the award for Curwood. That night the first annual Cline Medal was also given out. Morgan Cline was the recipient. Cline wasn’t on hand to receive the award, but Bill Burch read a letter from Cline thanking the community for the award. This new annual award will be given to individuals or businesses who make great contributions to the economic development of Appanoose County.
